Parent Coordination

A parenting coordinator is a third neutral party which helps parents implement orders and other parenting matters, but does not make decisions regarding legal physical custody or substantially change the parenting plan.

An order for parenting coordination is valid for up to 18 months.  

This process is NOT confidential, therefore the parenting coordinator will be reporting to the court through reports, which may include recommendations.

The fee for parent coordination is $400 ($200 per parent). This fee can be paid in person at the Clerk of the District Court located at 710 N. 7th Street, Kansas City, KS 66101 in the form of cash, money order, or cashier's check.
